Straps Conditioning 301


Description: Get stronger and challenge yourself in a supportive group with straps conditioning class! This class is for the intermediate/advanced aerial student looking for a challenging new way to build strength. Class will include a dynamic warm-up and stretching to prepare the body, then focus on conditioning exercises using the straps. Many exercises will be performed with the help of fellow students spotting (and encouraging!) each other. Class will finish with shoulder health exercises and cool-down. No spinning!

Prerequisites: Bar and vertical artists are welcome (including flying trapezists), but students must be able to comfortably and consistently invert 3 times in a row without assistance, have no active shoulder injuries, and have a regular & current aerial practice. 

Protective covering for the arms is recommended - long sleeve shirt or arm bands.
