Chinese Pole 101/201


With a focus on gaining grip strength and core tension, you will get comfortable learning to get off of the ground and attach yourself to the pole in a variety of ways. Students with more experience will progress to more challenging material.

Prerequisites: Students should be able to kick into a handstand against a wall and be able to hang from a bar by their hands for five seconds. You can test your grip on a jungle gym or at the fitness center.
