Accessory Conditioning for Circus

Description: This class will focus on building strength to complement discipline-specific training for acrobatics. A portion of all classes will be devoted to strength training and conditioning, though informational content related to exercise technique, progressions, and modifications will be presented as well. Exercises and conditioning will focus on both upper- and lower-body movements, using body weight movements and/or weighted movements. Individuals from any circus discipline are welcome.

Ground Acrobatics 101
Have you found ease and grace in the air but still find groundwork to be intimidating? Let's dig in to that! In this class we'll work with basic principles of tumbling—direction, extension, energy, and rotation—to expand your repertoire of acrobatic movement. Our focus will be on finding simple, smooth pathways that are accessible by all bodies.

Prerequisites: None! This is an introductory class for all skill levels and bodies.
